Muhammad Bonar

Muhammad Bonar or “Bonar” is an Associate in the Dispute Resolution Practice Group of Arifin, Purba & Firmansyah. 


In Arifin, Purba & Firmansyah, Bonar specializes in commercial, criminal, and administrative litigation arising from across a range of sectors including financial, commerce, construction, natural resources, technology, land & property, food & beverage, plantation, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing.

 

He is also experienced in advising and representing clients before Arbitration such as Badan Arbitrase Nasional Indonesia (BANI) and Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC). Apart of that, he also handled many high-profile families law litigation which involved high profile elites and public figures.


Prior to joining Arifin, Purba & Firmansyah in 2021, he had worked for 8 (eight) years in another international litigation firm in Jakarta.


He graduated from University of Indonesia (Bachelor of Laws) in 2013 majoring in procedural law. He gained his initial experience in law practice as he started his law career as a researcher at the Indonesian Court Observation Community of Faculty of Law of University of Indonesia (Masyarakat Pemantau Peradilan Indonesia FHUI/MaPPI FHUI).


He holds advocate license from Indonesian Bar Association (PERADI). He speaks Bahasa Indonesia and English.
